Brand identity, naming


 

Founded in 2021, Torba runs self-sustaining community gardens around the city of Toronto. The brand has strong environmental and social responsibility with a mission focused on bringing communities together, providing real and ethical harvest and helping the planet thrive. 

 

 

 


Torba rents out small plots in their community gardens to members of the community where they can grow their own produce and sell the excess to their neighbours in the garden’s mini-market. The brand is dedicated to donating produce to shelters and food banks in the neighbourhoods the gardens are located so everyone in the community can have access to healthy food. 

 

 

 

Torba is an inclusive brand where gardening lovers from all ages and genders are welcome - seniors, stay at home parents, side-hustlers, professional gardeners or those who do it as a hobby. The main target for the mini-markets are environmentally conscious youth, vegetarians and vegans, and a secondary target is anyone looking for easily accessible fresh produce.
